Press release -

Elmia Garden Trends blossoms at Liseberg’s Garden Days

Elmia Garden Trends is the inspirational website that gives the garden industry a preview of the coming year’s trends. The website functions as a business tool that offers inspiration and purchasing support. Now the trends will also be presented to the general public at Liseberg’s Garden Days from 17-20 May.

“The three trends – Mother Nature, Mystic Garden and Urban Backyard – are now moving from the industry and out among all the gardening enthusiasts,” explains Kristin Koefoed, manager of Elmia Garden. “At Liseberg the trends will be presented in a visual way with cuttings, plants and pots, and visitors will be able to see, feel and smell this year’s trends.”

On 17-20 May Elmia Garden will be on the spot at Liseberg’s Garden Days to present 2018’s garden trends to 50,000 gardening fans. Visitors can get inspired by the trends presented at a big exhibition on the Stora Scenen stage and in flowerbeds throughout the amusement park. Designer and stylist Jan Rundgren will also give talks about the trends.

“We’re very much looking forward to displaying this year’s three trends at the park,” says Zeth Pilevång, project manager of Liseberg’s Garden Days. “Being able to offer new content and inspiration to our guests is always one of our goals.”

The trends, which were developed by Elmia Garden together with the Swedish Fashion Council, will continue to function as a tool for industry professionals. In April 2018 the trends for 2019 will be presented exclusively to Elmia Garden’s exhibitors and visitors, together with colour and material palettes and trendspotting reports from the industry.

“Elmia Garden Trends have met with great interest from the industry and interpretations of them have long been one of the most important aspects of the Elmia Garden trade fair. Thanks to our collaboration with Liseberg, the trends can now last longer and be spread throughout the entire chain right to the end customers,” Kristin Koefoed concludes.

Liseberg’s Garden Days will be held on 17- 20 May this year. Are you interested in exhibiting during the Garden Days? Contact Zeth Pilevång, tel. 031-733 0332, zeth.pilevang@liseberg.se, by 31 January or read more here (in Swedish): https://www.liseberg.se/tradgard-utstallare
