Lighting frames your garden and creates space
When you invest time and money in creating a beautiful outdoor setting you want to be able to enjoy it even during the darker hours of the day. A lighting system from LightsOn makes it possible to have an attractively lit garden in the space of an hour.
“Our LED Garden Plug & Play lighting system uses screw fittings like Christmas tree lighting and needs no installation, which our customers appreciate. And it doesn’t have to be buried underground either,” explains Christian Tidell, CEO of LightsOn.
Creates pictures and rooms in the garden
“In recent years many people have built their own wooden decks and want recessed lighting, usually classic round spotlights that light straight up. It is also popular to use ground spots to highlight decorative objects, stones, bushes or trees,” he adds.
In the summer, the patio and garden are increasingly taking over the role of the living room. As a result, more attention is being paid to garden furniture, decorations and outdoor lighting.
“Without outdoor lighting your garden becomes a black wall when you look outside in the winter,” Christian says. “Previously, people would put up a single really strong lamp to light up the garden. Today they are instead creating small pictures and framing various objects. Outdoor lighting extends the living room and creates space out in the garden.”
New products imitate nature
Last summer LightsOn launched the start of a new lighting series that imitates nature. It includes Straw, which resembles tall grass, and Stone, which looks like stones lit up from inside to create a glowing effect.
“Much of what we offer are pure garden products but Straw and Stone also work well in a pot on the balcony to create a mood. They come in various sizes and can be combined to create effects,” Christian says.
First time at the fair
On 4–5 October 2017 LightsOn is exhibiting for the first time at Elmia Garden in the fair’s new product segment for grills, garden furniture and outdoor lighting. In addition to Straw and Stone, the company’s exhibits will include new spotlights and a portable battery-operated lantern, which works well on both the boat and the patio.
“At the fair we’re hoping to meet garden centres, people who work with landscaping and garden design, and those who are out working in gardens,” Christian Tidell concludes.
