Press invitation: Tomorrow’s developments and gardening trends at this year’s Elmia Garden
Elmia Garden is northern Europe’s largest meeting place for the garden retail trade. Over the period 26-27 September we will host 140 exhibitors from 10 countries who will exhibit their latest products at Elmia in Jönköping. On the stage, we will present everything from 2019’s garden trends to the very latest findings within the green branch.
During the press event, Johanna Rahm, Project Manager for Elmia Garden, will familiarise you with the exhibition’s news and highlights. The winners of Elmia Garden Award for the garden product of the year for 2017 and 2018, Björn Lidbrandt from Design Björn Lidbrandt and Lasse Pahlberg, CEO for ARS Nakaya Scandinavia AB, will describe how things have moved forward for them since their win. Hasselfors Garden will also provide tips and advice on how to improve sales using simple techniques. The press event will be held on Wednesday 26 September at 12:00 on the stage in hall D.
News and focus areas
This year we will place some extra focus upon professional cultivation and greenhouse technology and the challenges and possibilities they will face in the future. This will be delivered through our inspirationally-designed exhibition, seminars and panel discussions with the branch’s leaders.
Amongst the exhibitors you will find representation from most of the garden industry. Companies involved in greenhouse technology, garden decorations, garden equipment, and others will all present their news. This year we also have a new idea amongst the exhibitors, which we have chosen to call Scandinavian Design and Crafts. Here we will highlight those companies that offer products which, as well as being green, provide a hand-made feel with a Scandinavian touch.
Nominations for the Elmia Garden Award 2019
The nominees for the Elmia Garden Award for the 2018 garden product of the year will be revealed atthe fair. In 2018 the prize went to the Japanese ladder presented by ARS Nakaya Scandinavia AB. At this year’s exhibition, all nominees for the 2019 award will be exhibited in Lobby South.
