Greater opportunities with internationalisation

One common theme of the seminar will be answering three short questions: What is a Swedish supplier? What is an international supplier? and What separates them? The natural follow-up question is: How can we benefit from the increasing internationalisation?

The answers come from a panel of leading representatives of clients, consultants and contractors based on an international perspective.

“We have a very strong line-up with extensive experience of both Swedish and international projects,” says Erik Lööv, the Swedish Transport Administration’s project manager for Project Hallandsås and the moderator for the seminar:

“We operate in an international world, so we must see what opportunities this reality presents. Is innovation increasing? Is competition increasing? I plan to ask the panel why things have turned out the way they have and why we want internationalisation, among other questions,” he says.

Internationalisation in focus
The seminar is for the entire construction industry and begins with two 20-minute talks. The concluding panel debate brings together the answers in a summarising discussion.

“The seminar is a must for anyone who wants to understand what opportunities internationalisation entails for clients, consultants and contractors in terms of new business and a higher degree of innovation,” Lööv concludes.
