Thursday 6 June marks the start of the Nordic region’s biggest forestry fair. The theme is tomorrow’s forest ownership. More than 300 exhibitors from 21 countries are on the spot. There will be sweaty competitions, prestigious award presentations and new products and services from many exhibitors.

Bratteborg to be the site of Elmia Wood 2021

Elmia Wood May 18-21, 2021 will be hosted in the timberlands of Småland, 30 km south of Jönköping, Sweden. Elmia Wood changes date 2021

Today Elima AB announces that the world´s No 1. forestry fair, Elmia Wood, will be launched May 18-21 in 2021. Elmia Wood is an international fair for the entire forestry industry. It is a meeting place held in the woods. Where everyone, from the idea stage to the finished products and machines, has the opportunity to be represented.

The industry is changing. The heading is straight ahead.

Consensus and cooperation make for a transport-smart Nordic region

A new Nordic council of ministers for transport issues, joint planning for an expanded double track line between Oslo and Gothenburg, and synchronisation of the national transport plans are some of the Nordic Council’s proposals for growth and development in the Nordic region.

Nordic cooperation gives unique transport strategy advantages

Nordic cooperation means a lot for the strategic development of the infrastructure between the countries. Bane NOR, which is responsible for railway infrastructure in Norway, is involved as a partner in creating the Nordic region’s most important meeting place for the development of tomorrow’s transport and infrastructure: Elmia Nordic Future Transport Summit.

Elmia and Jönköping will host the Nordic region’s most important meeting place for tomorrow’s sustainable transport and infrastructure on 8–10 October 2019.

Next autumn is the premiere for Elmia’s new transport fair, Elmia Nordic Transport Infrastructure, which is being held in parallel with Elmia Nordic Rail.
